Why get certified?

The University of Texas is creating a culture of sustainability across campus - in classrooms, on the streets, and in the dining halls. While we can all make changes in our personal lives to reduce our impact on the environment, it can be difficult to know what to do in the workplace - until now.

Green Offices provides participants with a Certification Checklist -- a list of changes you and your colleagues can implement in your office's daily activities to make your workplace a little bit greener.

Green Office participants have the opportunity to attend celebration events and connect with other sustainability minded individuals on campus. Each participating office receives the Green Offices logo to display on official correspondences, and after achieving each level of certification, your office will receive an award to display your achievements and progress in the Green Offices program.

Download the Green Offices Certification Checklist. Get started filling it out according to your office's current activities - then schedule a consultation with a Green Office Coordinator.
